Pero es cierto que tiene algo de secreto la publicación de la canción.
También es cierto que me gusta la música de Los Tres. Ellos exploran en la chilenidad profunda y eso siempre me ha gustado: nuestra tradición, más allá de los guetos y más allá los discursos públicos. Esa música que mezcla al choro de casa de putas del puerto, con la sofisticación del jazz fusión, que tiene cosas de la Violeta Parra, que como andaba en esas tradiciones que estan por debajo de lo evidente, recogió los cantos de los indios de Chile.
Así que sí, me gustan Los Tres.
No, no, no; no hablo de mitos ni santifico a los Parra, ni siquiera a la Violeta. El nuestro no es un país de santos, no somos gente con una visión muy precisa de la vida propia, y por eso, pedirle a la Violeta que viera el purrun de un modo desprejuiciado, no sería un buen cirterio para referirse a ella. Chile es un país de sedientos, en eso eres preciso. hay datos duros sobre eso.
De todos modos, nuestros síbolos patrios no son la salvedad. No podemos decir que Neruda ni Allende, fueran el revolucionario de manual, como a veces los pinta una izquiera más voluntarista que revolucionaria, más torpe que auténticamente política. No será don Pedro Aguirre Cerda, ni su partido, un dechado de virtudes cívicas. Pero todos ellos, junto con ese proyecto ineficiente que fue la "vía chilena al socialismo" defendieron la libertad y los derechos de los patipelaos de la epoca, junto con el nunca bien ponderado acarreo electoral, industralizaron Chile, junto con abandonar a esposas e hijos enfermos, escribieron sobre Temuco de un modo universal. Pero sobre todo y por último, todos ellos, tan chilenos, somos un poco nosotros. Con nuestra individualidad, pero con nuestra tradición, que no es inmaculada. Pero no lo es ninguna otra tampoco.

Alguna vez me explicaron, muy profesional e informadamente que la conciencia no tiene sentido del tiempo, al menos en términos emocionales. Lo que pasa es que me da un poco de pudor. No se de literatura. Solo soy un lector más o menos asiduo. Mi opinión, creo, no tiene mucha validez "técnico-literaria" (que feo se lee eso). Como lector, creo que es muy bueno lo que haces, sobre todo, porque tus recursos evocan imagenes con intensidad, pero también lo enredan a uno en el desarrollo de la historia. Eso es buna literatura para mí. De todos modos, sin revelar tu identidad, convocaré opiniones más letradas sobre el asunto.
Es la historia de un estudiante universitario de Nueva York, en la decada de los cuarenta, que decide recorrer y recorrer sin destino muy preciso, estados unidos. Los personajes son de verdad delirantes y la historia "le lleva" harta droga "chuchás", y bajos mundos. No es clasista, ni los demás calificativos, porque reconocer las jerarquías espirituales y las otras, es solo percibir la realidad tal como es.
No creo que todos queramos ser iguales, creo en realidad queremos ser diferentes. De hecho lo somos, a tal grado, que como comunidad, hemos creado mecanismos para tratar de igualarnos en ciertas pocas cosas. En la posibilidad de conservar nuestra integridad fìsica y la vida por ejemplo y en las demás cosas, que nos enseñaron hace unos años atrás en las aulas de Pio Nono.
Además no creo que queramos ser iguales porque si eso sucediera, la vida se "dentendría", no tendíamos la posibilidad de irnos de cierto ámbito en el que somos, los más pequeños a otra comunidad en la que seríamos los grandes. No podríamos escapar de ser enfrentados atrozmente, hacia espacios en los somos tiernamente acpogidos y luego, volver por más adrenalina, a ser enfrentados de nuevo. No podríamos disfrutar de hablar huevadas sin sentido terrenal, una vez que escapáramos de comunidades en que solo se habla sobre lo "real".
Todo eso es posible porque precisamente somos diferentes. Así que si alguien dice que quiere que todos seamos iguales, así, sin más. Podríamos invitarlo a que se de cuenta de que quiere otra cosa.
